One night this week several of us gathered for some laughter, story telling and food! What could be better than that!! The picture above shows some of us gathered around the Christmas tree at my home. We all had a wonderful time.

After a very successful year in the barn we have decided to have a 50% off sale! Yes, that’s right; we are selling everything that is remaining in the barn at an amazing bargain of 50% off! We want to have a complete barn full of new treasures for you next year. We decided the best way to do that was to completely empty the barn. So, beginning November 20 at 10:00 AM the sale sign will go up and we will begin our 2 day sale. It will run both Friday and Saturday until 5:00 PM. Everything must go!!!
We still have some really nice Christmas decorations and gifts. We also have some nice pieces of furniture including a few beautiful rocking chairs. Some really nice glass ware is still available along with a couple of complete sets of dishes. You will be happy with the outstanding values!
Be sure and stop in, the coffee pot will be on as always. We ask that there be no early sales in order that you all have a chance to pick up some great bargains. Bring your friends. And a truck! You may need it!

Mr. Friendly is the name of this unique scarecrow that is placed at the end of our driveway. He will greet you as you drive in for our sale this weekend. Julie made this attractive guy complete with bibs and a great big smile.
Julie and I have spent the last couple of weekends at auctions, standing out in the boiling sun so you don’t have to!
We have some fabulous finds! My favorite is and antique bedroom set with a Gentlemen’s dresser. It is beautiful and has already found a new home. It seems that Julie likes the old cupboard with the wainscoting on the inside.
We had a tremendous amount of traffic the last few days. We decided to be open when Lands’ End has their huge warehouse blow-out sale. Harris Park, where they have their sale, is located only about a quarter of a mile from the barn. So it has been lots of fun for us. People from all over our Great States have made it an annual event to come to the Lands’ End Sale. We will be open tomorrow, too.
We are all looking forward to seeing you today or tomorrow. And our next big sale is set for the Labor Day weekend in case you can’t make this one.
It is almost dusk and we have closed up after a busy day! You will enjoy sitting at the adjacent picnic area and drinking a cup of coffee or perhaps a glass of Kool Aid from the stand. I know you will feel welcome as you approach this fun deck, a very new addition to the barn.
