ITS BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS…..
We are nearly ready for our Christmas Wonderland Sale. Part of the fun will be that we are including Thanksgiving and Halloween decor. You can shop till you drop and get everything that you need for all three holidays.
Those of us that decorate for the sales are getting pretty adept at climbing those ladders, pounding those nails, moving heavy furniture and then moving it again when it doesn’t look just right! And all in the name of fun!
If you have not visited our barn you will find that we have items that are affordable and unique. We have a wide assortment of appealing items that are looking for a good home.
My favorite for this sale is a huge mirror that used to be a welcoming sight as you walked in the front door of Thym’s Restaurant in Dodgeville. Thyms closed a few years ago and we are pleased that this gorgeous one of a kind mirror has ended up on our wall. It is truly a treasure.
You will also like our marble topped bedroom set. It has dark wood and many beautiful designs carved into the dresser. You will have to see this piece to believe it!
We have Santas, Reindeer, Angels, Snow men, Christmas Trees, Sleds and even a Tobaggan to put you in the mood for Christmas. Our CD player is playing Christmas music and we are all singing along, one can easily forget that it is 80 degrees outside!
It has been a busy week around here. Our Grandson plays football. Last week was Homecoming Week and was full of fun events. Toilet Paper adorned the trees of many residents! I am amazed at how high some of those rolls of TP went in our trees. There was a parade, pep rally, football game and a dance! How wonderful to be able to have such a fun filled week.
This weekend our daughter and her family from the Chicago area surprised us by attending the football game. That was fun for all of us. It was nice to have all the beds in this big house filled again!
Our sale will start on Thursday, October 21 and run through Saturday, October 23. We hope you will be able to stop in. The Coffee is always on and the cookie jar is never empty!
Happy Shopping!

One night this week several of us gathered for some laughter, story telling and food! What could be better than that!! The picture above shows some of us gathered around the Christmas tree at my home. We all had a wonderful time.
We wish you love in your heart, peace in your soul and joy in your life always!
